Shipping & Returns

Modern Threads offers free shipping of all clothing and accessory purchases $70 and over.  Shipping time varies upon location.  As soon as your order has been packaged and dropped off for shipment, we will notify you and provide you with tracking information. We do offer free pick up in store at our Champlin, MN location during business hours.

Modern Threads offers a 14-day return policy from the day of receiving your online order or the day of purchase for in-store orders.

In order to be eligible for a return, you must have a copy of your order confirmation email/receipt and all item(s) unworn with tags still attached. If it is discovered that an item has been worn, no refund will be given.  Please email taylor@modernthreadsllc.com to request an online order return and receive further information.

Basic Return Guidelines:

• unused, unworn, unwashed, and in its original condition

• no stains, damages, or odor

• tags must be attached

Customer is responsible for any shipping charges required to process the online order return. You are welcome to return online orders in store to avoid any shipping charges. Modern Threads is not responsible for any packages lost in transit while in the refund process.  We highly suggest using a carrier that uses tracking services to protect your return.  If you would like us to provide you with a return shipping label, please email us and the cost will be deducted from your return credit.

A fee of 3% will be deducted for all returns to cover fees incurred from initial purchase.  

The following items are not eligible for returns and are final sale:

• Sale Items

• Accessories

• Gift Cards

• Preorders

Once your return is received and inspected, you will be notified immediately via email and it can take up to 3-5 business days to receive your refund payment, depending on the financial institution.

Modern Threads does not offer exchanges for online orders at this time, instead follow return instructions and purchase the desired size in that item while your return is being processed to ensure availability.
