Consignor Program

Modern Threads is excited to offer a consignor program designed to uplift and support local, women-owned businesses. This program creates a shared marketplace where community talent is showcased, collaboration is encouraged, and customers can discover thoughtfully curated products all in one place.

Beginning March 1, we are seeking up to 5 local women-owned businesses to join our consignor program on a month-to-month basis.

How It Works

Consignors are provided dedicated space within the Modern Threads storefront to display and sell their products. We handle the day-to-day operations so you can focus on creating and growing your business.

Program Details:

• Daily space rental: $15

(Automatically deducted from weekly payouts)

• Commission: 30% paid to Modern Threads on all products sold

(Automatically deducted from weekly payouts)

• Term: Month-to-month

• Availability: Limited to 5 businesses at a time

What Modern Threads Provides

• Full staffing of the store — you do not need to be present, though you are always welcome to stop by during store hours

• Product packaging for all purchases

• Handling of returns while your product is in our store, in accordance with our return policy

• Ongoing re-merchandising as items sell to keep your space looking full and inviting

• Monthly event to drive additional traffic

• Promotion of your business and product(s)

• Inventory report

• Replenish inventory as needed throughout the month​​

• Promote your business and product(s) available at Modern Threads
